How to Measure Ring Size Without a Ring
When you do not have a ring to compare, measuring finger circumference is the most practical at-home method.
Method 1: Use a Paper Strip
Use a narrow, non-stretchy paper strip. Wrap it around the base of the finger, mark the overlap, lay it flat, then measure the length in millimetres.
Method 2: Enter Finger Circumference
The paper strip is how you obtain a circumference; the calculator is for entering that already-known number. It then returns an India, US, UK and EU estimate from the same sizing data used by the tools.
How Tight Should the Strip Be?
Keep it snug but not squeezing. It should represent how you want the ring to pass over the finger. Repeat the measurement if the result feels inconsistent.
